Laura Enghofer

This report is the result of my first research assistantship. I was told to research the history of the land that was to become the new Penn State Arboretum. This research included looking up old deeds and photographs, and interviewing Centre County's resident historian. The report includes text, photographs and property maps that I constructed using the old deeds.

The report is currently unpublished. The arboretum director decided to increase the scope of the report, and a co-author is currently working on expanding the work that I did. It is expected to be completed this summer.
